meet the Otherworlders
Otherworlders are wielders of Wanderers - allowing them to traverse the galaxy.
Many Otherworlders work as a team, sharing a Wanderer and exploring worlds as they navigate sticky situations to make a living and possibly do a good deed or two.
Brizgar - Leogin Defender
The noble and proud leader of Lionheart. Brizgar rushes into battle with determination to win.
Playstyle: Team support tank, capable of hitting multiple enemies with shield toss and machine gun.
Akaia - Elf Gunslinger
When Akaia was a child, a nefarious demon by the name of Daraxus hunted her kind and slew her entire bloodline. She was the only one that remained, thanks to her parents’ noble sacrifice. Much later in her pursuit of vengeance, she discovered that Daraxus had murdered her clan because of its rare “Oathkeeper” blood, which contains celestial properties. When Daraxus found out that this clan possessed the power to eradicate him, he planned the assault and on the clan to end it before it could become a problem for him. Unfortunately for him, Akaia’s still alive and on the hunt!
Playstyle: Heavy long range DPS. Skilled at Wisdom based checks.
Etaviveec - Felinx Assassin
Etaviveec was raised on the streets without a traditional family. Having to steal from tribes and food stalls in villages, Etaviveec narrowly escaped capture more times than he could count. He found himself lost and spiraling downward into a place that would afford him the luxury of prison, until he met a leogin by the name of Ajax. Together, they found a home in the military’s Foragna division, the Iron Fang, where they honed their skills. Since then, Ajax has gone missing. Etaviveec has searched far and wide to find his lost friend.
Playstyle: Intelligent sniper, capable of melee combat.
Cara Reiss - Human Seraph
Growing up in the faith district of Nadoul, Cara was said to be “chosen” due to the strange marking on the top of her left arm running down her back. She was alienated as a child and became reserved, not understanding why other kids viewed her differently. As she aged, her powers grew, and the mark ignited with a glowing blue aura that gathered much attention.
Playstyle: Healer, Anti-Undead, Capable at melee combat
Sol Bildharu - Dyahri Battle Mage
Sol is a pursuer of knowledge and the arcane arts. He sees the potential in the universe, in himself, and what he hopes to accomplish. He believes that through his adventures, he’ll gain the wisdom needed to unlock the secrets of astral and the magical abilities it carries. During his travels, he came across a band of adventurers, two of which were particularly interesting to him: Akaia and Cara. They mistook his interest for awkward flirting, when in reality he was intrigued by Akaia’s Oathkeeper bloodline and Cara’s Zodicar mark.
Playstyle: Excels at Investigation, Technology, and Intelligence checks. Deals heavy damage to the living dead with his energy rifle. Spells offer wide variety of options.
Rosaline - Dandrik Gunslinger
A business woman and also a better shot than you. Rosaline grew up in Silverwood with a only a father, who worked very hard in order to provide food and shelter for the two of them. Rosaline grew in admiration of her father and wanted to be just like him. He ran a successful mom-and-pop shop by the name of “The Silver General,” a general goods store. On a fateful evening, one that Rosaline will never forget, when a hostile customer robbed her father's store and killed him in the process.
Playstyle: Heavy single target DPS and tough to take down.
Thurex - Vanticar Bounty Hunter
Thurex found himself in many bad situations on his homeworld, Brutana, due to his obsession with conquering and being superior. He wasn’t born as strong as other vanticar, and as such, had been nearly killed dozens of times over. Thurex despised feeling weak and dreamed of becoming more powerful, but was unsure of what he could do to achieve it. It was then that he realized it wasn’t his raw strength that gave him the advantage, but his intellect. He has since become a bounty hunter and acquired more useful equipment to help him gain power, like his guard and trusty hand cannon.
Playstyle: Capable of crafting traps and succeeding at Technology checks. Thurex is great at melee, dealing AOE with shock breath, or blasting enemies with his hand cannon.
Kiin - Bessk Pirate
Kinn has dreamed of being a sky pirate ever since she was just a wee lassy. At a young age she was abandoned by her mother, as per tradition of that of bessk. Since then she’s been able to do something most bessk cannot: manipulating others to her advantage. The only thing sharper than Kiin’s rapier is her tongue. Kiin is able to talk her way into or out of anything.
Playstyle: Deliver cunning strikes that expose your enemies' weaknesses.
Buffbeard - Lykan Buccaneer
A man of strong conviction, whose relentless on the open seas or the battlefields.
Buffbeard is feared among all, while also generous to allies. His relentless pursuit of killing varothan nobles has led him in many conflicts.
Playstyle: Strong, tough, fast, and capable of breaking through structures and shocking the everliving crap out of an unfortunate enemy, Buffbeard is a great defender and support for the team, without sacrificing much damage dealing.
